LEGO Conference @ NIE on 13 and 14th March 2007
A professional Sharing session organized by NIE with professionals from all over the world (China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and from some of our local schools and companies) and also ROBOLAB software designer himself, Professor Chris Roger!!!
Lots of takeaways on the two days conference - different teaching methods were shared and learnt with the use of lego in the different subjects. One of the most catchy presentation was from one of the China Professors. Half of the time, the audience had difficulty understanding what he was trying to say, but the fact was, we all had the same common goal and that was to use lego to enhance learning for our students, and that is why in the end everyone knew what he was driving at. There was also a video clip recorded by some china students (age 9 - 13) titled Superman Returns, using lego figurings as casts and lego blocks as the props - showcase as part of their English lesson project. Very entertaining indeed and everyone had a great laugh from the clip.
Overall, it was a fruitful and eye-opening trip for both the teachers and students. Looking forward to attend Lego Conference 2008 :)

Adi's post
todays session was fun
and very interesting even though i faced numerous problems when i tried to fix the wheel on to the robot.
but at the end i managed to fix it on to the robot.
but the best part of the session was when Mr. Yeo treated us to burger king.
